How to remove DU Battery / DU Speed Booster Android Apps

My android phone was previously ok. No spams, no unnecessary software running. I also don’t know why recently I noticed that there are some notifications popping out and it is quite annoying. It could be that my 4-yo boy accidentally clicked on ads while watching videos using my phone.

These apps namely DU Battery Booster,  9apps, 4shareapps, wifi masterkey, I think they are somehow rooted to my phone system because even I uninstall it, I’m unable to do. Or I may say that I can successfully install it but it keeps on re-install by themselves. I can’t do anything to delete it. Well, I am not much on the techy side, but I can follow instructions.
Next step – I searched google of course on how to delete those apps that I consider malwares. I just don’t need it. It keeps asking to install one apps and earn points by installing another apps. However, I can’t find any instructions on how to delete it :)

I explored on my phone folders and managed to delete it. It’s not easy and I don’t know if what worked on my phone will work on yours. However, there’s no harm in trying :). I repeat, I am not techy at all but I just want to share info, who knows can help others too.

How to delete du booster / du battery / speed booster apps:
On your File Manager, choose where that apps been rooted. Either on your memory card or phone storage. Mine was in memory card. Try using search bar. Type: dianxin, after finding that dianxin folder, you can delete it. Search again if any dianxin file is there and delete.

At first, I don’t know what this dianxin file is all about. I just noticed that everytime I delete/uninstall the apps, it comeback and installing by itself. I can’t do anything. I accidentally discovered about dianxin that it is the same name that I saw from DU Battery / DU Booster / Speed Booster/ etc all about that DU. I decided to deleted that dianxin folder and I think I managed to delete DU Speed Booster.

You might also experience some other apps that were installed automatically on your android phone.  I think that this DU Speed Booster has brothers or sisters. You also can delete it. I managed to delete on my phone and clean now :). I hope that it also works for you.
How to delete 9app, 4share, wifi-masterkey apps:

I personally don’t like additional apps because I think it’s not useful to me. I am just a simple user, not a massive one. Therefore I rather find a way on how to delete unnecessary apps.

From the settings>apps>4shareapps>uninstall.
From the settings>apps>9appsPro>uninstall.
From the settings>apps>wifi-masterkey>uninstall.

May come different on your phone but try to analyze by yourself.

On your File Manager, choose where that apps been rooted. Either on your memory card or phone storage. Mine was in memory card. Try using search bar. Type apk. You can delete the folders showing like Download Provider, Wifi-MasterKey Overseas, 4shareapps, 9appsPro. This is deleting from roots.

I just can’t explain much on the technical side, but now my android phone is clean.

My conclusion is that whenever you allowed these apps to be installed on your phone, it will be there forever unless you manage to delete from the roots. I’ve done factory reset three times before I discover deletion because it is a rooted apps stayed on my memory card. Maybe changing to new memory card will also help after resetting to factory default, but in my case, I have no extra budget for new one.

Hope this helps :)
