Recycled Rolled Magazine Valance

There are old magazines in our rack that have no use at all. Instead of throwing it, why not do some recycled crafts out of that. You can make a curtain, a photo frame design, valance, and a lot more crafty items that you would love. Here is a very easy project as your reference :)

Materials: Old Magazines, paper glue, string, old beads or old buttons that you can use as a stopper and design.

Recycling Idea - Sew Recycled Colorful Buttons

It's my kids' summer vacation. No schooling and they are vacant to help me out. It's cleaning time for us :),,, I found a lot of clothes which we no longer needed. Before I dispose it or turn the old clothes into rags, I remove all the buttons which I think I can use for decorating stuff. Here we go, I managed to collect a lot and a variety of colorful buttons. I sew it on white shirt and form a design like a shout-out! You can make your design as well depending on the quantity of the old buttons that you may collect. Designs vary, depending on what you want :), you can make a flower, an initial letter of your name, and a lot more!

Sew the buttons instead of gluing it. It's more durable for cloth.

My Beads. My Hobby

I love beads! Despite my busy schedule, I'm still visiting this hobby once in a while. Believe me, this will lessen your stress. There's no standard. You can create whatever you want. It doesn't limit your creativity but boosting up your imagination instead. The materials don't have to be new. We have lots of stash at home which you can use like your old shirts and button :) Start with simple designs first like earrings and bracelets. There are many tutorials and how-to-videos available online FREE. I will also be uploading some of the basics, so stay tuned :)
